About the Publishers

Scott & Tonya Bredehoeft, the publishers of lakehighlands.info, are 28-year residents of Lake Highlands and have observed the growth, improvements and maturity of our community first-hand. When Scott and Tonya arrived to Lake Highlands in 1981, the LHHS Wildcats football team was the reigning state champion, the Audelia branch of Chase Bank was a Dairy Queen, and most of Royal Lane in Lake Highlands did not even exist! The Bredehoefts' three sons have attended our LH-area RISD schools from Kindergarten and up, played in all of our LH-area youth sports leagues, and participated in church youth groups as well as Lake Highlands Young Life. Tonya has received the PTA Life Award from Forest Meadow JH as well as the Unsung Hero award from the Lake Highlands Exchange Club. Scott has coached boys baseball, soccer and basketball continuously since 1991 (his first kindergarteners are now college graduates!). Tonya's background is journalism, retail advertising & public relations while Scott's is in commercial real estate working for some of the largest owners/developers of office, retail and industrial properties in the State of Texas. Through lakehighlands.info, we intend to share our knowledge and experiences of everything that is Lake Highlands with the residents and businesses of our community! And, we look forward to adding your knowledge and experiences for the benefit of all visitors to our "Online City Center"!
